Al-Bashir receives former US president Carter
Khartoum, April 10 (SUNA)- President of the Republic Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir received at the Guest House Saturday former US president Jimmy Carter
Carter said in a press statement following the meeting that his meeting with Al-Bashir came in the context of the meetings he is holding with leaders of the political parties in the country
He pointed out that he discussed with Al-Bashir the elections, hoping that it will be peaceful, free and fair
Carter pointed out that his centre will issue a statement on April 17 on its observation to the elections. BT/BT
