African Health Ministers Sign Joint Call Document
Khartoum, Feb. 12 (SUNA) - The African Health Ministers taking part in the First Conference of the African Network for Medical Excellence signed at Salam Rotana Hotel Friday a joint call document expressing their commitment to the implementation of the health centers which are sponsored by the Italian Voluntary Emergency Organization with support from the international donors
The document was signed by 11 African neighboring countries besides the representative of the Government of Southern Sudan, Dr. Majok Yak
The Federal Health Minister , Dr. Tabitha Boutros affirmed her Ministry's readiness to provide medical support for the people with heart diseases in the neighboring countries which will benefit from Sudan's experience in the field of training the medical cadres in this field
The Minister added that the conference recommended all the concerned circles to support the medical centers in all the African countries in accordance with general principles of the human rights
Dr. Thabita lauded the efforts being exerted by the countries participating in the conference, International Emergency Organization and some partners including the African Union and the European Union
