30-Million Dollars Loan Agreement Signed for Rehabilitation of Blue Nile Schemes
Khartoum, Jan. 3 (SUNA) - A 30-million dollar loan agreement to rehabilitate the Blue Nile schemes at Sennar State was signed Sunday at the Ministry of Finance between the Ministry and a Chinese company, in the presence of the Chinese Ambassador to Sudan and the Wali (governor) of Sennar State. The Minister of Finance and National Economy, Dr. Awad Ahmed A-l Jaz, who attended the occasion, described the year 2010 as one of output and productivity. The Chinese Ambassador to Sudan expressed his country's keenness to boost the development in Sudan, referring to the country's great resources. The Undersecretary of the ministry, Dr. Al-Tayeb Abu-Ganaya, who signed for Sudan said that the loan includes 13 schemes in Sennar State. IF/MO
