Ummah Reform and Renewal Party rejects Ocampo's allegations
Khartoum, July 21 (SUNA) - The Leadership Office of the Ummah Reform and Renewal Party, chaired by Al-Zahawi Ibrahim Malik, discussed the latest developments in the country, top of which the irresponsible decision by the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC), Ocampo, that targeted the President of the Republic, the symbol of the Sudan's sovereignty. The Leadership Office affirmed the strong rejection of the party to the decision of the ICC's Prosecutor and lauded the African and Arab role as well as other countries in rejecting the decision which constitutes an overt infringe to the national sovereignty of Sudan and encourages the armed movements not to resort to the negotiations table. The party urged the internally-displaced persons in the camps to return to their home villages to cut the way for those who want to create sedition among the fellow countrymen. The party also stressed the necessity of keeping on the serious pursuit to solve the issue of Darfur. MF/BT
