US Envoy to Sudan visits Al-Fashir
Al-Fashir, Aug. 11 (SUNA) - US Special Envoy to Sudan Richard Williamson arrived in Al-Fashir, capital of North Darfur State, Monday in the context of his current visit to Sudan. He was received upon arrival at Al-Fashir Airport by Minister of Local Government and Civil Service in the state Idris Abdalla and other senior officials. Following his arrival, the US envoy headed to the premises of the joint mission, where he held a meeting with the leaderships of the mission. The US official is to visit Zamzam camp for internally displaced persons and meet the Wali (governor) of the state.
