The Sudanese Jordanian higher committee meets later this month in Sudan

 

Khartoum, Nov 21 (SUNA) - The Joint Higher Sudanese Jordanian Committee will meet in Khartoum and Port Sudan states later this month with the Sudanese side to be headed by the Vice President Ali Osman Mohamed Taha and the Jordanian side to be headed by Jordanian Prime Minister Engineer Nadr Al Zahabi. The Jordanian ambassador to the Sudan, Munzir Gubaa, has pointed out in statements to the Sudan News Agency that this fifth meeting of the Higher Committee will be preceded by a meeting of the Joint Ministerial Committee that will be headed by the Minister of industry on each side to prepare for the agendas to be discussed and the implementation of the signed agreements between the two sides. The Ambassador has pointed out that this meeting comes within the context of the implementation of the joint agreement on agricultural land uses as allocated by the Sudan to Jordan as well as on husbandry and exports of products from each country via the Aquba sea port in Jordan, and also to review development of trade between the two countries. He said the meetings will also review the renewal of the health and educational protocols and tat the activities of the committee will cove a wide range of issues relative to the historic, developed and fruitful relations between the two countries. He said a high level Jordanian delegation including the minister of Industry, Trade, Transports, Health and Education and instruction will accompany the Jordanian Prime Minister. MA/MA
