undefined undefined undefined undefinedSaturday`s Africa Cup of Nations (CHAN) qualifying match between hosts Taifa Stars and Sudan fetched 125m/-.

The Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) Information Officer, Florian Kaijage, said yesterday that the amount was generated from 18,966 fans who paid to watch the first leg match at the Main National Stadium in Dar es Salaam.

Kaijage said 9.2m/- were grossed from VIP `A\', 12.4m/- (VIP `B`) and 12.8m/- (VIP `C`).

He said 16.8m/- were grossed from orange curve and 73.8m/- from blue and green stands.

Stars defeated Sudan 3-1. Jerry Tegete, Athumani Iddi and Kigi Makasi scored for the home side.

Stars are expected to start their residential training camp today in Dar es Salaam ready for the return leg tie set for December 14 in Khartoum, Sudan.

Any kind of draw with send Stars to the finals set for February in Ivory Coast.
