Syrian Prime Minister affirms keenness to maintain unity, stability of Sudan
Khartoum, Nov. 18 (SUNA) - The Syrian Prime Minister Mohammed Naji Ottri reviewed Monday with the Sudanese Minister of Industry, Dr. Jalal Yusof Al-Degair, the close relations of cooperation linking the two countries as well as the relations linking the peoples of Sudan and Syria and means of boosting them at all domains. The meeting also discussed the preparations for holding the 5th meeting of the Joint Sudanese-Syrian High Committee in Khartoum in the coming two months. In this connection, the Syrian Prime Minister affirmed the keenness of his country to maintain the unity and stability of Sudan as well as the support to the development process in all aspects. Meanwhile, Minister of Industry, Dr. Jalal Al-Degair, briefed the Syrian Prime Minister on the latest development of situations in Darfur as well as the efforts being done to settle the crisis, commending the supportive stances of Syria to the security and stability of Sudan. It is to be noted that the meeting was attended by the Syrian Minister of Economy and Trade, Dr. Amer Hosni Lutfi, and Sudan's Ambassador to Syria, Abdul Rahman Dhirar. MF/ MF
