Sundowns lose in Sudan

Mamelodi Sundowns poor recent form in African club competition continued on Saturday night as they lost in Sudan.
The Brazilians lost 4-2 to last season’s semifinalists Al-Hilal and now face an uphill battle in the home leg in a fortnight’s time.
Sundowns looked to have done enough to earn a draw after goals from Surprise Moriri and Josta Dladla had the scores deadlocked at 2-2, but two late Al-Hilal goals have left them facing an embarrassing early exit once more from the competition owner Patrice Motsepe coverts the most.
Meanwhile, Ajax Cape Town recorded a 5-1 victory over Mount Cameroon in their 2008 Confederation Cup second round, first leg, match at Athlone Stadium on Saturday night.
