APA-Kampala (Uganda) Construction of a multi-million dollar five-star hotel by Sudanese AYA Group was launched on Monday in Nakasero hill near the state lodge, Kampala, Uganda.
President Yoweri Museveni inspected the construction work of the Hilton hotel where he took time to warn the media against sabotaging government development programmes.
He said the media, in their reports, were not only interfering with the work of AYA Group but also interfering with the government\�s development programmes.
Hilton Hotel will on completion provide jobs to 2,000 Ugandans.
Museveni said the media was \" attacking the jobs of Ugandans\", adding that his government going to discuss the role of the media.
He said he was at the site to express his moral support to the AYA Group and thanked them for ignoring the negative reports peddled by the media.
