Sudanese Official visits Awqaf

WAM ABU DHABI, Dec. 22nd, 2008: Director General of General Islamic Affairs and Awqaf Authority (GIAAA) Dr. Mohammed Mattar Al Ka'abi today received Undersecretary at the Sudanese Ministry of Religious Affairs '&' Awqaf Dr. Abu Baker Deng Aljack who is on a current visit to the UAE.
At the meeting, Aljack hailed the distinct relations between the UAE and Sudan. He further hailed GIAAA's efforts to further promote the culture of tolerance and moderate approaches.
Al Ka'abi briefed Aljack on the Authority's achievements, efforts to develop endowment investments as well as its efforts to raise awareness of the public though moderate preaching.
