Sudan delivers message to Egyptian president on Darfur
APA-Cairo (Egypt) Sudanese Foreign Minister Deng Alor on Sunday delivered to Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak a message from Sudanese President Omar Hassan al-Bashir on Darfur and the expected peace talks between the government and armed movements in the region under the auspices of the Arab League.
The message also addressed developments in the implementation of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement between north and south Sudan and the consequences of the International Criminal Court indictment of the Sudanese president.
Alor said he briefed Mubarak on recent meetings of Sudan\�s initiative to solve the problem of Darfur and possible recommendations alongside the initiative of the Arab League and African Union to reach a common ground between the Sudanese government and armed movements in Darfur.
He said he also briefed Mubarak on the developments of relations between Sudan and Chad and possible exchange of ambassadors between the two countries this month.
