Speaker of National Assembly Hails Sudanese Pioneers who Achieved Independence
Khartoum, Dec. 18 (SUNA)- The Speaker of the National Assembly, Ahmed Ibrahim Al-Tahir, has hailed the Sudanese pioneers who achieved the Independence of Sudan. Al-Tahir said in his speech on the occasion of the 53rd. anniversary of the declaration of independence of Sudan from inside the parliament, which coincides with December 19, that the decision of the parliament at that time had speed up the departure of foreign presence from Sudan. He pointed out that the occasion of the anniversary of independence should be an opportunity for the Sudanese people to realize consensus on national issues
