Saudi Arabia Donates Four Mobile Medical Clinics to Sudan

 

Khartoum, Dec. 3 (SUNA) - The Humanitarian Aid Commission (HAC) of the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs Wednesday received four mobile clinics with full modern apparatus as a donation from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Sudan. Addressing the celebration held on this occaction in Soba area, the Commissioner-General for Humanitarian Aid, Dr. Hassabo Mohamed Abdul- Rahman, said that health clinics are part of the continuous Saudi support to the flood-affected areas in Sudan, adding that the mibile clincs represent a real boost to the health services in the affected areas. Dr. Hassabo said this support is not strange from the Custodian of the Two Holly Mosques, explaining that Saudi Arabia was among the top countries that presented humanitarian support to the affected people in Darfur. Meanwhile, the Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Sudan, Mohamed Abbas Al-Kulabi, said that the mobile clinics are part of the assistance of the Custodian of the Two Holly Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdul-Aziz, to the flood-affected people in several areas in Sudan. He explained that the support is part of the Saudi humanitarian assistance to Sudan, which was put at 20 million US dollars. MF/MO
