President of South Africa Affirms his Country's Support to Sudan and Pledges to Visit Sudan in Coming Days
Khartoum, Aug. 3 (SUNA)- The President of the Republic of South Africa, Thabo Mbeki, has affirmed his support to Sudan at all the regional and international forums. He announced that he would visit Khartoum in the coming few days. In a statement to SUNA, the Presidential Advisor, Dr. Mustafa Osman Ismail, said that conveyed to the President of South Africa a verbal message from President Al-Bashir dealing with the latest developments in Sudan and the government efforts to expand security and stability in the country. Dr, Ismail said that President Mbeki assured his country's support to Sudan at all the regional and international forums, and pledged to visit Sudan in the coming days to exchange views with President Al-Bashir on the latest developments in Sudan and progress of the bilateral relations.
