President of Burkina Faso Appreciates Distinguished Relations between Sudan and his Country
Khartoum, Nov. 30 (SUNA) - The President of Burkina Faso, Blaise Compaore, has appreciated progress of the distinguished relations between Sudan and his country in all fields. This came during his stop over at Khartoum Airport Thursday while he was en route home to Burkina Faso after his participation at the International Development Conference in Doha, Qatar. He was received at Khartoum Airport by the Presidential Advisor, Riek Gai, the State Minister at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ali Karti, and the Ambassador of Burkina Faso to Sudan. President Compaore affirmed the keenness of his country to consolidate further its relations with Sudan for the interest of the peoples of the two countries. He said that the International Development Conference in Doha provided an opportunity for consultation and deliberation about ways to surpass the current financial crisis. He stressed the importance of work at the African level toward enhancement of development and services in the African countries. President Compaore appreciated the constructive views expressed by Sudan and Burkina Faso for boosting the economies in the African states under the current international financial crisis. MO/MO
