President Al-Bashir to inaugurate Family Bank Tuesday
Khartoum, Aug. 24 (SUNA) - President of the Republic Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir will inaugurate Tuesday the Family Bank, the first Sudanese economic institution which is specialized in domains of micro financing in partnership between the private and public sectors, with a capital of 32 million dollars. The Chairperson of Board of Directors of the Family Bank, Engineer Widad Yagoub, expected at the regular SUNA news forum Sunday the capital of the bank to reach 500 million dollars in the coming five years, reviewing the idea of establishment of the Family Bank. General Director of the Family Bank, Dr. Abdul-Rahman Dirar, said the ceiling of the funding to be offered by the bank is 10,000 Sudanese pounds. He revealed that the head office will be in Khartoum with 5 branches in the Northern, Nahral Nil and Darfur States to give small loans and funding. MF/ BT
