President Al-Bashir bids farewell to 1,000 displaced families returning to home areas in North Darfur
Al-Fashir, July 23 (SUNA)- President of the Republic Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir bade farewell to 1,000 families leaving Wednesday from the three IDPs camps in North Darfur State of Abushok, Alsalam and Zamzam to their home areas of Darzagawa, Tawila and Abuzraiga in the areas north, south and west Al-Fashir. Director of Humanitarian Aid and Development Organization - Darfur Sector Mahgoub Mohamed Omer said all aid has been provided to the families in their areas including food, shelter material besides seeds for farming. President Al-Bashir addressed the returnees, affirming his stance beside them till the issue of Darfur is solved with the participation of its people. The returnees affirmed their support to President Al-Bashir, affirming that the people of Darfur are the most affected by the plots targeting Sudan. President Al-Bashir and the accompanying delegation arrived in Al-Fashir at the outset of a historic visit to the three states of Darfur, where he was received at the airport by Wali (Governor) of North Darfur State Osman Mohamed Yousif Kibir and members of his government and AU-UN Joint Special Representative for Darfur Rodolphe Adada. President Al-Bashir was accorded huge popular reception in Al-Fashir, amid strong condemnation to the allegations of the prosecutor of the International Criminal Court. BT/BT
