President Al-Bashir back home concluding visit to Saudi Arabia

 

Khartoum, Nov. 2 (SUNA)- President of the Republic Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir returned home Sunday evening concluding a visit to Saudi Arabia during which he held talks with the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdelaziz. Sudan Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Abdel-Hafiz Ibrahim described in a press statement the visit as successful, where bilateral relations between the two countries and the Saudi investments in Sudan were discussed. The ambassador referred to the role of the Kingdom in supporting Sudan through the efforts for solving Darfur issue. The talks also tackled the arrangements for hosting by Saudi Arabia to the Islamic donors conference for supporting Darfur in next January, which is organized by the Organization of Islamic Conference. The visit reflected the deeply rooted relations between the two sisterly countries. BT/BT
