President Al-Bashir attends conclusion of celebrations of Shikan Insurance and Re-insurance Company of its silver jubilee
Khartoum, Jan. 27 (SUNA)- President of the Republic Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir attended Tuesday evening the conclusion of the celebrations of Shikan Insurance and Re-insurance Company of its silver jubilee. The President honoured the family of Martyr Al-Zubair Mohamed Salih and a number of leaderships who contributed to the establishment of Shikan Company. The occasion was addressed by Gen. Ali Al-Sharief Al-Tahir representing the Minister of Defence, who reviewed the pioneering role of Shikan Company in insuring the public and strategic utilities in the country, pointing out that the company is considered one of the pioneering companies in the world. The Managing Director of Shikan Insurance and Re-insurance Company, Osman Al-Hadi, on his part, pointed out that Shikan Company is one of the best insurance companies in the world, saying it has realized many achievements in the field of Islamic insurance and covered all forms of insurance, including the agricultural insurance. Al-Hadi pointed out that the company has provided unprecedented services not only in Sudan but also internationally. BT/BT
