President Al-Bashir: Sudan will Never Succumb, Surrender or Hand over any Sudanese citizen to Foreign Circle

 

Khartoum, July 21 (SUNA)- President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir, has affirmed Sudan rejection to any intervention in its domestic affairs and practicing of blackmail and pressure against the Sudanese nation. This came during his meeting Monday at the Guest House with the visiting delegation of the Arab Lawyers Union, which is headed by its Chairman, Sami Ashoor. President Al-Bashir stressed that Sudan will never succumb, surrender or hand over any Sudanese citizen to any foreign circle. He asserted Sudan capability to defend its land, gains and accomplishments, appreciating the stand of the free people of the world and the peace-loving nations alongside Sudan. He called on the international organizations seeking justice to send their delegations to Gaza, Palestine, Iraq and Afghanistan to see by their own eyes the killing, torture and insulting which being inflicted on the peoples of these countries. President Al-Bashir said that the accomplishments attained by Sudan in the political, economic and services fields have motivated its enemies to work for halting its march. He said that Sudan was able to surpass the biggest two obstacles in the peace process which were the unanimous ratification of the General Elections Law and the signing of the road map agreement on Abyei issue. He referred to the remarkable economic growth which was achieved by Sudan and testified by the international and regional organizations, besides the production leap that was reached by Sudan in the oil and other fields, stressing that Sudan is qualified to be the world food basket due to its vast resources, the capabilities of its people and the rush of the foreign capitals and investors to operate in the country. President Al-Bashir referred to the various development strategies being adopted by Sudan, especially in the agricultural field, in addition to the atmosphere of freedoms and tolerance and seriousness for conducting free, fair and internationally-monitored elections. Meanwhile, the President of the Republic affirmed falseness of the allegations on genocide, ethnic cleansing and rape in Darfur, indicating that the citizens at the said areas should have not resorted to areas which are under the control of the regular forces if such allegations were true. He said that certain countries and enemy circles tended to ignite war in Darfur to serve their own agenda when they peace was about to reached in south Sudan. He pointed out that the conspiracies are intended to split Sudan and its unity due to the country's tremendous resources and unique position as a bridge for the Arab and Islamic culture to African nations at the sub-Sahara region. President Al-Bashir said at his meeting with the delegation of the Arab Lawyers Union that the conspiracies against Sudan began before advent of the Salvation Revolution and go back to the 19th century, referring to historic background of the war in south Sudan which erupted before Sudan independence. He lauded the honourable stances of the Arab Lawyers Union in support of Sudan and the causes of the Arab nation and countries at the region. Meanwhile, the Chairman of Arab Lawyers Union, Sami Ashoor, affirmed at the meeting the absolute solidarity of the Union with Sudan concerning the allegations raised by the prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC). He called on all the countries and peoples in the region to be aware and to confront the imperialist and Zionist plotting against them. The meeting was addressed by the Secretary General of the Arab Lawyers Union, Ibrahim Al-Samlali, the Deans of the Syrian and Libyan Bar Associations and representative of the Sudanese Bar Association.
