President Al-Bashir Lauds Stances of Saudi Arabia in Support of Sudan
Mekka, Oct. 31 (SUNA)- President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir, has lauded the stances of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Saudi government and people in support of Sudan at all forums. President Al-Bashir and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques discussed during their meeting the ongoing preparations to hold the donors conference for rehabilitation of Darfur, which is sponsored by the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC), in coordination with the Saudi Development Bank in Riyadh at the end of next January. In a statement to SUNA, Sudan Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Abdul-Hafiz Ibrahim, said that the talks between the two parties focused on the developments at the Sudanese arena with regard to Darfur issue and the efforts to solve it. He said that the visit of President Al-Bashir was given a special concern, and provided an opportunity to acquaint the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques with the Forum of the People of Sudan, within the framework of the coordination and consultation between the leaderships in Sudan and Saudi Arabia.
