President Al-Bashir Appreciates Distinguished Relations between Sudan and Qatar
Khartoum, Nov. 9 (SUNA)- President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir, has praised progress of the distinguished relations between Sudan and Qatar, affirming Khartoum keenness to consolidate further its relations with Doha for the interest of the two sister nations. During his meeting Sunday at the Guest House with the visiting Qatari investors' delegation which is co-headed by Sheikh Ali bin Abdalla Al-Thani, and the Director of the Board of Directors and Delegate Member of the International Islamic Bank of Qatar, Sheikh Dr. Khalid bin Thani Al-Than, President Al-Bashir lauded the role of sister in boosting the economic development and inevestment process in Sudan. In a statement to SUNA, the Executive Chairman of the International Islamic Bank of Qatar, Abdul-Basit Ahmed Al-Shaibi, said that the bank looks forward to establish a branch, expressing the delegation's pleasure to visit Sudan to discuss views and projects toward consolidating the bilateral relations in the financial and the investment fields. The Executive Director of the Qatari Makin Estate Company, Ali Al-Hashi, referred to projects that would be established jointly by Khartoum State and the Qatari Makin Company. MO/MO
