President Afwerki Sends Message to First Vice - President Salva Kiir
Khartoum, Nov. 13 (SUNA) - The Eritrean President, Assais Afwerki, has directed the leading figures of the Eritrean People's Front Yamani Gerab and Abdalla Jabir, to convey a message from him to the First Vice - President, President of the Government of South Sudan (GoSS) and leader of Sudan People's Liberation Movement (SPLM),Salva Kiir, dealing with ways to consolidate further the distinguished relations between the two parties. In a statement after his meeting Thursday in Khartoum with the SPLM Secretary General, Pagan Amom, the leading figure of the SPLM, Yasser Arman said the meeting discussed the current situation in Sudan and progress of the relations between the ruling Eritrean People's Front and the SPLM. Arman said that the meeting also discussed the implementation of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA). MO/MO
