ISLAMABAD, Jan 01 (APP): Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has extended his warmest felicitations and best wishes to President of Sudan, Field Marshal Omar Hassan Ahmad Al-Bashir on their independence Day falling on January 01. In his message to the Sudanese President, the Prime Minister said �On behalf of the Government of Pakistan and on my own behalf, I have great pleasure in conveying to your Excellency and to the Government of the Republic of Sudan our warmest felicitations on the occasion of the Independence Day of your great country falling on 1st January, 2009.�
He said the close brotherly relations existing between the two countries are deeply embedded in common Islamic heritage and shared perceptions on regional and international issues.
The Prime Minister expressed his confidence that the cooperation and collaboration existing between the two governments and peoples will further expand in the years to come.
He also extended his best wishes for the good health and long life of President Omar Hassan Ahmad Al-Bashir and for the well being of the brotherly people of Sudan. |
