New season of demining operations for clearance of Peace Road, Fulj- Malakal and Ayod-Bor sectors, launched
Malakal, Dec. 13 (SUNA)- The Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, represented in the National Centre for Combating Landmines, has launched the new season of demining operations which aims at clearance of Peace Road, Fulj- Malakal and Ayod-Bor sectors. The launching of the operation was attended at Malakal town Saturday by Minister of Humanitarian Affairs Dr. Harun Lual, Minister of Transport, Roads and Bridges Philip Thon Leek, State Minister at the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Secretary General of the National Centre for Combating Landmines Ahmed Haroun, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs Ambassador Charles Mayang and Governor of Upper Nile State Galwak Deng.
