Minister of Justice brified on ICRC activities in Sudan
Khartoum, Nov. 9 (SUNA) - Minister of Justice Abdul-Basit Sabdarat Sunday received at his office the Head of the Delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), Mr. Patrick Vial, who briefed him on the activities of the ICRC in Sudan. The Minister said in a statement to SUNA the meeting reviewed the cooperation between Sudan and the ICRC, focusing on the possible assistance to Sudan in domains of national legislations and international agreements. The Minister added that he got acquainted with the ICRC's action plan in Sudan as well as its achievements and the prospective plan, reiterating Sudan's keenness to boost cooperation with the ICRC. Sabdarat explained that Mr. Vial expressed the keenness of the ICRC to perform its activities as a neutral body. MF/ BT
