Kenana Sugar Company starts production operations for new season to produce 413,000 tons of sugar
Kenana, Nov. 15 (SUNA)- Production operations at Kenana Sugar Company for the new season started Saturday to produce 413,000 tones of sugar, compared to 391,000 tones in the previous season. This was announced by the Managing Director of Kenana Sugar Company, Mohamed Al-Mardhi Al-Tegani, in a press statement Saturday. He pointed out that the company will implement the mechanical harvesting of sugar cane by 100% this season. Al-Tegani indicated that the area to be harvested is 82,000 feddans. BT/BT
