TEHRAN, Nov. 02 (ISNA)-Iran and Sudan are to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on media cooperation during Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman's tour to the country.
Hassan Qashqavi staying in Khartoum was warmly received by his Sudanese counterpart, Ali Sadiq, upon his arrival to the country.
The trip mostly seeks boosting media ties between the two countries; Qashqavi said in an interview with a Sudanese nationwide channel.
Sadiq for his part stressed expanding Iran-Khartoum friendly ties.
The Iranian official is slated to meet some Sudanese media officials during his trip.
Sudan with a population of some 40 million is the biggest Arab-African country and the ten largest country of the world.
