Tehran, 4 August: Foreign Minister Manuchehr Mottaki is currently on a visit to Saudi Arabia to attend a meeting of the executive committee of the Organization of the Islamic Conference, it was announced on Monday [4 August].

Foreign Ministry spokesman, Hassan Qashqavi made the announcement while talking to domestic and foreign reporters during his weekly press briefing.

Qashqavi said that participating delegates would discuss Sudan crisis in the OIC meeting.

The spokesman added that during the meeting, Mottaki is expected to voice Tehran's support for the Sudanese government and nation.
