International Confederation of Arab Trade Unions Rejects ICC Prosecutor allegations

 

Khartoum, Aug. 3 (SUNA) - Chairman of the International Confederation of Arab Trade Unions (ICATU), Hassan Al-Jamam has declared his rejection and condemnation to the allegations of the International Criminal Court (ICC) against President Al-Bashir. Addressing the Popular Rally for Solidarity with Sudan under slogan "Stop Targeting Sudan" at the Friendship Hall in Khartoum Sunday, Al-Jamam said that they declare their solidarity and full support to Sudan people and government against the plot against Sudan in this historical stage. He affirmed Arab workers support to confrontation to the Ocampo's allegations and to all constructive efforts exerted by the symbol of the national sovereignty, President Al-Bashir, for peace and boosting of national unity and stability process. Jamam added that Ocampo's allegations aimed to hindering of peace process, stability and development that Sudan is now witnessing in political and economic fields, adding that Ocampo ignored that Sudan did not ratify the ICC Statute which serves the American agenda.
