Industry Minister to address Sudan celebrations with African Manufacturing Day
Khartoum, Nov. 19 (SUNA) - Minister of Industry Jalal Yousuf Al-Degair is to address Thursday evening at Al-Fatih Tower in Khartoum, activities of the Sudan celebrations with the African Manufacturing Day, coincided with November the 20th every year. Chairman of the higher preparatory committee, Siddiq Ahmed Suleiman said that the celebration the Ministry of Industry organizes in collaboration with the Union of the Industrial Chambers and the United Nations' Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) under the slogan "Manufacturing of Raw Materials for Sustainable Industrial Growth and Development". He pointed to participation of a number of concerned parties, ambassadors of sisterly and friendly countries, heads of the diplomatic corps in Khartoum, adding that the African countries are celebrating the African Manufacturing Day annually. He affirmed the serious need for collective efforts to boost and speed up the industrial growth in the African countries and remove the obstacles facing the industrial sector in Africa. BH/MO
