Implementation of Security Arrangement Protocol of Darfur Peace Agreement Begins
Khartoum, May 9 (SUNA) - Implementation of the security arrangement protocol of Darfur peace agreement began Friday with the signatory movement. The first group of forces of the signatory movements of the peace agreement was admitted Friday at a training camp in Nyala city, the capital of South Darfur toward absorbing them in the Armed Forces. In a statement to SUNA, Chairman of the Commission for Security Arrangements for Darfur Transitional Regional Authority, General Mohamed Ahmed Mustafa Al-Dabi, said that around 200 men belong to the signatory movements of Darfur peace agreement were admitted at Domaya training camp, adding that other groups will arrive successively in the coming days. He said that the recruits will undergo military training for a period of 105 days prior to their absorption in the Armed Forces. MO/MO
