Golden Jubilee of Sudanese-Chinese Relations to be celebrated
Khartoum, Nov. 22 (SUNA) - The country will celebrate in next March the Golden Jubilee of the Sudanese-Chinese relations, which are considered as genuine relations that have yielded during these years joint projects for the interest of the two friendly countries, specially the utilization of the Sudanese petroleum and Merawi Dam. Minister of Finance and National Economy and Chairman of the High Preparatory Committee for the Celebrations of the Golden Jubilee of the Sudanese-Chinese Relations Dr. Awad Ahmed Al-Jaz pointed out following a meeting of the committee Saturday that the celebration of the occasion is an opportunity to elevate the value of these relations towards a solid partnership in all political, social and economic fields. The Minister pointed out that the state at the official and people level will participate in the celebrations besides the public and private sectors, students, women and all sectors of the Sudanese society. He referred to the strategic location of the Sudan as the country is considered as a vehicle for the Chinese-African relations as well as to the Arab area. A number of sub-committees have emanated from the High Preparatory Committee for the Celebrations of the Golden Jubilee of the Sudanese-Chinese Relations, including the Information Committee, which is chaired by Secretary General of the Ministry of Information and Communications Abdel-Dafie Al-Khateeb.
