First Vice-President Meets with Kenyan President on the Sidelines of IGAD Summit
Nairobi, Oct. 29 (SUNA)- The First Vice - President of the Republic, Salva Kiir, met Wednesday on the sidelines of the 13th Extraordinary Summit of the Inter-Governmental Authority on Development (IGAD) in Nairobi with the Kenyan President, Mwai Kibaki, and discussed progress of the relations between Sudan and Kenya and means of consolidating them further. He also met with a number of Kenyan senior officials including the Prime Minister, Raila Odinga, and the Vice President, Kalonzo Musyoka. SUNA learned that Sudan delegation has participated effectively at the IGAD Summit at the ministerial and presidential levels. The 13th IGAD Summit succeeded in brining together all the Somali leaders, represented in three institutions of the President of the interim Somali government, the Prime Minister and the Parliament.
