Eritrean President arrives in Khartoum on official visit
Khartoum, Nov. 12 (SUNA) - Eritrean President Issias Afeworki arrived in Khartoum Wednesday on a two-day official visit to Sudan during which he will hold talks with President of the Republic Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir and participate in the concluding session of the Forum of the People of Sudan for solving Darfur problem. President Afeworki will hold talks with the President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir, at the Guest House Wednesday evening on bilateral relations and means of strengthening of cooperation between the two countries as well as regional and international issues of mutual concern. The Eritrean President will meet during the visit with Vice- President Ali Osman Mohamed Taha, The Assistants of the President of the Republic, Dr. Nafie Ali Nafie and Musa Mohamed Ahmed and the Secretary General of the Sudan People's Liberation Movement (SPLM), Pagan Amum. President Afeworki was received upon arrival at Khartoum Airport by President of the Republic Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir, ministers and senior government officials. IF/BT
