Dr Nafie receives Japanese Envoy to the Sudan
Khartoum, Oct. 28 (SUNA)- The Japanese Envoy to the Sudan on Monday expressed his country's appreciation for the efforts exerted by the government for settlement of the situation in Darfur and in Southern Sudan, pointing out that his country follows these efforts exerted to reach a comprehensive and just solution to these issues. The Japanese Envoy pointed out in a statement following his meeting with the Assistant of the President of the Republic Dr Nafie Ali Nafie that his government, within its endeavor to assist the Sudan effect development and progress the country, had announced an assistance of 200 million us dollars in aid last May to the country and that it has now started the implementation of that assistance. He pointed out that his country follow the implementation of the comprehensive Peace Agreement CPA which he said was going on steadily. MA/MA
