Dr. Al-Jaz Affirms Sudan Keenness to Consolidate its Cooperation and Partnership with China
Khartoum, Dec. 1 (SUNA)- The Minister o Finance, Dr. Awad Ahmed Al-Jaz, has affirmed the keenness of Sudan to consolidate further its cooperation and relations with China and to bolster means and mechanisms of the partnership between the two countries. This came when he received Monday at his office the Director of the Chinese ZTE Company. Dr. Al-Jaz and the Director of the Chinese ZTE Company reviewed the available opportunities of investment in Sudan at the field of telecommunications, referring to the distinguished level of the telecommunication sector in Sudan. He invited the ZTE company to coordinate with the Sudanese Telecommunication Company (Sudatel) to realize more technical and technological progress in the field of telecommunications benefiting from the Sudan strategic location as a link between Arab with African countries toward creating a robust telecommunication network that meet the renewed regional and international requirements. The Director of ZTE said that his visit to Sudan came in the context of the talks led by the Chinese Deputy Minister of Trade with the Sudanese officials, saying that his company aims to increase its work in Sudan in the field of telecommunication through cooperation with the national companies. He referred to the existence of ZTE permanent representative for follow- up and to boost realization of the aspired progress in the telecommunication field. BH/MO
