Flying Eagles striking duo of Macauley Chrisantus and Ganiyu Oseni have arrived Abuja ahead of their September 27 African Youth Championship qualifier against Sudan.
Both players jetted into the Federal Capital Territory, FCT Wednesday to boost the number of foreign-based pla-yers that are already at the Ibro Hotel camp of the team as they look forward to leading the national U-20 team to a convincing first leg victory over the East Africans.
Chrisantus who plays for German Bundesliga side, Hamburg missed the Flying Eagles last qualifier against Senegal in Dakar in July after injuring himself in the first leg in Abeokuta on June 28 and he is ready to return against Sudan.
CSKA Moscow starlet, Oseni played a key role in the two-legged fixture against Senegal, scoring the second goal in their 2-0 win in Abeokuta and providing assist for the only goal in Dakar.
And the former Prime FC of Osogbo forward believes the Flying Eagles will win convincingly against Sudan.
"We know it's very important we have to win and we are ready for the game. We are not going to underrate Sudan and we are confident they can't stop us from qualifying for the African Championship," Oseni said.
Atletico Madrid's Kingsley Udoh also arrived the Flying Eagles camp Wednesday and coach Ladan Bosso will be happy with the latest arrivals after captain Lukman Haruna and Kabiru Akinsola stormed Abuja on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, Sporting Club of Portugal playmaker Rabiu Ibrahim will only join his teammates next Monday after his club pleaded with the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF to allow the player participate in his club's game this weekend before joining the Flying Eagles.
