Chinese ambassador commends the police forces in handling the question of the abduction of Chinese workers
Khartoum, Oct. 31 (SUNA)- The Chinese ambassador to the Sudan, Li Chanwing has commended the performance of the Sudanese police force and their high professionalism in dealing with incident of the hijacking of Chinese workers. The Chinese ambassador who called on the Minister of Interior Ibrahim Mamood Hamid, in the presence of the Director General of the Police force, General Mohamed Nageeb el Tayeb, has pointed out that the police force have shown a high quality of professionalism in managing the crisis because it was familiar with the area and the terrain. The Chinese ambassador expressed hope that the reminder of the Chinese would be found. The minister has meanwhile described the kidnapping as a terrorist act that had wanted to create tension in the ties between the two countries. MA/MA
