Afraid of going the way of Golden Eaglets Coach, Alphonsus Dike whose side clashed out of the African Youth Championship last weekend, after a 0-3 loss to neighboring Benin Republic, Coach Ladan Bosso of the Flying Eagles has called up members of the 2007 FIFA U-17 World Cup winning team to camp for the next game against Sudan.

Among the invited players are 2007 FIFA U-17 World Cup golden boot winner Macaulay Chrisantus, Ganiyu Oseni, Rabiu Ibrahim, Alfa Yakubu, Lukman Haruna, Kingsley Udoh and Kabiru Akinsola, Uche Okafor.

Others are Kennedy Eriba and Joseph Thompson Uchechi Daniel, Alimi Jamiu, Obum Ihebueme (Ebonyi Angels), Reuben Gabriel (Kaduna United), Oladele Ajiboye (Prime FC), Afolabi Abdulwaheed, Joshua Obaje (Lobi Stars), Michael Egbeta, Solomon Okpoko (Sharks), Gbolahan Salami, Abel Oluwashina and Vincent Atabo of Sunshine Stars.

The rest are Mathew Edile (Unattached), Emenike Nkume (Rangers), Tswanya Samuel (Niger Tornadoes), Shagari Shehu, Bala Mohammed (Kano Pillars), Nura Nakargo, Obiora Nwankwo (Wikki), Nnanna Michael, Uche Dennis (Gateway FC), Nosa Emmanuel (FC Abuja), Osanga King (Akwa United), Kingsley Okoronkwo (Bussdor), Chijioke Nwankwo (Heartland).

Bosso said the failure of the National U-17 Men's team, Golden Eaglets against the Republic of Benin in the qualifying series for the African Championship is a big eye opener and a clear indication that there are no minors in world football.

"It is clear that there are no longer minnows in the game; every team has to work hard. I am surprised that the Eaglets lost to Benin Republic. This tells us that we have to be more serious in our approach against Sudan. Nothing must be left to chance", said Bosso.

The Flying Eagles take on Sudan at the National Stadium, Abuja on September 27, in the first leg of last round of qualifying for the Rwanda 2009 African Youth Championship and Bosso said there will be no mercy for the Sudanese.

"There will be no mercy for Sudan. I have put all my players on notice and it is all-out war. We want to be in Rwanda".
