Bosso is banking on the invited foreign-based players namely Chrisantus Macaulay, Ganiyu Oseni, Yakubu Alfa, Daniel Uchechi, Jamiu Alimi, Lukman Haruna, Kingsley Udoh, Kabiru Akinsola, Kennedy Eriba and Joseph Thompson to beat the Sudanese.

He said, “I decided to invite the foreign-based to join the 25 home-based players to fight for roles in the team for the match. I want to select the best for this game to make our qualification easy and assured.”

The coach said he invited Eriba to create competition among the attackers, as he was out for a convincing victory over Sudan

“Kennedy has been a part of this squad and only failed to play the last game as a result of injury. But now that he has recovered fully I am banking on him and others to defeat Sudan,” Bosso said.

The player is noted for his pace, dribbling skills and accurate shots at goal.

Nigeria had beaten Senegal 3-0 to be on course for a ticket to the Rwanda 2009 African Youth Championship.

Sudan, who eliminated Kenya 4-2 on penalties after a 1-1 aggregate, will be out to denial the Flying Eagles a place in the contest.
