Bahrain Shoura Council encourages private sector to invest in Sudan
Khartoum, Nov. 24 (SUNA)- The Speaker of the National Assembly, Ahmed Ibrahim Al- Tahir, met Monday member of the Shoura Council in the Kingdom of Bahrain Dr
Al- Shiekh Khalid Bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa and reviewed with him the bilateral relations linking the two countries in all domains. The meeting also reviewed the deep-rooted relations between the two sisterly peoples besides the joint parliamentary relations and coordination and cooperation in this field. The meeting also tackled Sudan's agricultural potentialities as well as opportunities of agricultural investment in the country. Dr. Khalifa, on his part, has affirmed keenness of the Shoura Council to encourage the private sector and the businessmen in Bahrain to invest in Sudan, especially in the agricultural sector, pointing to the great concern given to the Arab food security in the wake of the food crisis the world is witnessing now.
