African Union delegation to arrive in Khartoum Sunday
Khartoum, Aug. 2 (SUNA) - A delegation of the African Union (AU) comprising Chairperson of the AU Commission Jean Ping and Commissioner of Peace and Security Ramadan Al-Amamra is to arrive in Khartoum Sunday. Sudan Envoy to AU Ambassador Mohi-Eddin Salim said in a statement to SUNA that the visit comes in the context of consultations between the AU and the government on developments in the Sudanese and regional arenas. The AU delegation will hold meetings Monday with a number of government officials. BT/BT
