Activities of the National School Tournament launched in Dongola
Dongola, Nov. 22 (SUNA) - Assistant of the President of the Republic Musa Mohamed Ahmed and Presidential Adviser Dr. Mustafa Osman Ismail launched in Dongola Saturday the activities of the 20th. National School Tournament with the participation of all states of Sudan. Addressing the celebration on the occasion, Assistant of the President of the Republic Musa Mohamed Ahmed said the national school tournament brings together students from all states of Sudan and reflects the heritage of the Sudanese people. Minister of General Education Dr. Hamid Mohamed Ibrahim, on his part, pointed out that the programme of the national school tournament reflects the glory of Sudan, development and rehabilitation besides the cultural and sport activities. Wali (governor) of the Northern State Adil Awad said that the school tournament is an educational gathering to build the capacities of students, pointing out that all states of Sudan participate in the tournament.
