A helicopter chartered by UNAMID crashes at Neyala
Khartoum, Sept. 29 (SUNA) - A helicopter chartered by UNAMID crashed at Neyala killing all four crew members, while it had been on a flight to transport food materials to Mihajria area. Assistant Director General of Police Maj. Gen. Hashim Ibrahim Fadlalmoula said in a press conference held by the Deputy Director General of Police at the Police Headquarters Monday that the helicopter was subjected to firing from inside Kalma camp for displaced people and that the culprits were believed to belong to one of the armed movements in Darfur. He added that the helicopter crashed between Kalma camp and Belail and completely burned, pointing out that a team of police was sent to the area of the crash one kilometer from Kalma camp. BT/BT
