Joint Egyptian-Sudanese Parliamentary Committee to begin Saturday

The 4th Session of the joint Egyptian-Sudanese Parliamentary Committee is due to begin here Saturday. The opening setting of the joint committee will be addressed by the Speaker of the National Assembly Ahmed Ibrahim Al-Tahir and the Speaker of the Egyptian People's Assembly Dr. Ahmed Fathi Sorour. SUNA learnt that the 2-day meetings will discuss the issues of common concern of the two countries and the Sudanese and Egyptian Assemblies as well, top of which the issues of integration implementation, Darfur, boosting Afro-Arab cooperation and coordination in the international for a as well a plan to activate the Arab Parliamentary Union. The Speakers of the two Assemblies will hold a joint press conference following the signing ceremony of a joint communiqué at the end of the meeting. The Speaker of the Egyptian Assembly, Dr. Ahmed F, Sorour, will also give a lecture at the Lawyers' home on the constitutional developments.
