Aweys Osman Yusuf Mogadishu 21, Jan.07 ( Sh.M.Network) The Sudanese and the Somali government have agreed that Sudan should take great roles in arbitrating the defunct Islamists and the transitional federal government.
Khaleej news agency reported that the Somali government represented by Prime Minister Ali Mohammed Gedi who arrived in Sudan yesterday has asked the Sudanese government to play roles in assisting the government towards education and health.
Premier Gedi met Sudanese vice president Ali Osman Taha last night in Khartoum. The two leaders raised issues concerning the African troop deployment in Somalia.
The Sudanese government promised it would present the real political events in Somalia to the Arab League. Taha said the League was committed to take part in the political solution of Somalia.
