I lost the tape of the late great singer , Hassan Atiah, and was always thinking of contacting uncle ''Ali Altom '' in Cairo , just to restore the tape contains 'Alwan Alzohoor'. We , The Sudanese, however , do trust the people we admire. In this way , we lose many valiable recordings and books
I met kabli in New York '1999'. He was surprised when I asked him to sing some of Hassan Atia's songs. He promised that he will go ahead and perform some of the songs of " Usatzi Hassaan Atia" , according to his expression, for the sack of our generation, and generations to come.
In my own personal view, I think that Kabli and Abdelazeez
Daoud ( god rest his sole in peace) are the best of those who tried the songs of the others
