In this conference, Nile Danube will feature experts on key areas of gender equality, gender justice and women’s empowerment. The Conference is based on the results of Bejing and will reflect on the Millennium Development Goals. The aims of this Conference are: to build strategies to achieve gender equality in democratic governance, to build and foster effective networks of women inside and outside Sudan and to follow the Oslo recommendations.  Conference Venue August 26th, 2005 The first day will be held in the Austrian parliament under the auspices of the Second President of the Austrian National Assembly, Barbara Prammer.
